Well, I got news today that my car ("GRAB R") is in Montana - so things are getting real close for me. Just wanted to say I've been on this site before the first cars were even shipped and seen people come and go from 6G. I've met some amazing new friends here on this site, gents I've now crashed @ their houses/couches, did track days and tours with, hit up auctions and shared our love for cars, but specifically these new Shelby's.

I'm domiciled almost 3000 miles from you but can feel your passion and excitement for these Shelby's and especially your new R model and wished I was there to share the excitement when your new car arrives.

From a personal standpoint all I can say it is very difficult to keep my foot out of it especially in Sport Mode and when the RPM's get up to and beyond 5000. Trust me you will not miss the radio or AC on your car!

Take lots of pictures and share them with us as soon as possible.

To say that you will be impressed with your R model compared to your other cars is an understatement.

Will be in Seattle tomorrow changing planes and then very early Wednesday morning and wished we could get together but schedule does not allow it.

Well. . . it's like sneaking and looking at XMAS presents before the actual day, but this just popped up on Ebay. Same spec as mine but w/Electronics package. I think this is HR219. Maybe someone can chime in and verify?

I haven't paid attention since I got my R, what have they been fetching? Are the $25k-$30k ADM's still sitting on eBay or are they selling?

I hadn't looked for a while, either. A quick browse of completed/sold eBay listings for Rs show they are not having a problem selling them for between $90k-$110k.
