Corsa sport sounds exotic

Just installed a Corsa sport catback on my GT, (and got it for a killer deal, thanks Hypermotive) and I am loving the way it sounds. It doesn't sound much like a Mustang though, and it kinda fits the less muscular, more touring/euro car looking S550 chassis.

I think it sounds a lot like a Maserati, but maybe I'm deluding myself.

Haven't had a good chance to hear the Corsa Sport in action, but I've had several people tell me my Xtreme sounds like a Maserati

I think the double X gives the Corsa this wicked warble type sound in the lower-mid range, and then the high pitched scream reminiscent of a granturismo

OP - Yes it definitely has an exotic note to it, and I love it!

So you're just a (double) x-pipe away from the Xtreme...I guess the resonator makes quite a big difference.

Huge. The resonator takes the volume down 30-40% at least.

For those of you who have heard the Gt350 Stock exhaust, is the Corsa Sport or extreme catback similar in loudness on startups and acceleration? From Youtube videos, corsas tend to sound similar to the Gt350, and that is the loudness I'm looking for. Would Sport be better suited?

The Sport is similar in volume to a GT350 (non-R). The Xtreme is at least as loud as the R, I think louder, actually.

Ive driven my friend's R with the exhaust open and Im pretty sure (going off memory) that the X pipe and Sport Axleback was louder. I LOVED the volume and the sound of the R tho, it was perfect!
