I hear you. I’m in Ontario as well and was lucky enough to find one privately in the US where shipping wasn’t bad at all. Few and far between up here.

As soon as I found this thread, I was all in. The days of $100 Audi wind screens have passed. The best deal I could find was $250 shipped. It arrived in three days and was in perfect condition. Installed it the same night and could not be happier. I had a very similar screen in my 428i, but this makes a much bigger impact in the Mustang for some reason. Worth every penny.

A couple of weeks ago I got a Love the Ride screen for $400 after coupon. It works great and I am very happy that I didn't have to disassemble or drill anything.

I still have an Audi wind deflector (in perfect condition) for sale. Serious inquiries only (message me).

I think I'm the one that started the tether idea. I still use it but have never had anyone try to steal it either. As for stability, it's not really needed for that. I use it strictly as a theft deterant. But, again, no one has tried to take it yet.
I leave the screen in full time, summer and winter.

Thank you for clarifying. I will likely put the top up when not driving so I'll skip it. Thanks again for the quick response!

Just picked up a windscreen in good condition for $50 on facebook marketplace!

Next step is to test this thing on the highway.

Thank you to all of the pioneers of this mod!

I didn't even think about my son's high back booster seat being in the way. Anyone mount this higher so it still works? I'll likely just need to pull it out when my son isn't in the booster and I want to use the windscreen....
