Recently got my first Mustang (new to me '17) and first convertible, and although I've been impressed with how little wind gets into the cabin, I thought a wind screen might help even more. Found the LTD unit but just couldn't swallow the price. Plus, apparently it won't fit in the trunk with the Shaker speaker my car has. After some searching (there HAS to be a better way?) I found this thread, and so happy!! Thanks to everyone who has helped out here. This is very helpful.

I'm curious if anyone has experienced replacing the fabric on the Audi unit. I's seen a video that seems to be replacement of a LTD unit. And I know a company called Cabiro Supply sells a replacement kit for $25... Are they all pretty much the same? Rubber gasket that holds the fabric in a groove?
Yes, the Audi version is rubber gasket holding in fabric. Looks easy to replace fabric.

Would this work with a lightbar?

Get ready for a perfect Audi Windscreen w/bag I'll be listing in a few days. It is ready to go now but I haven't taken any photos. If this doesn't sell here on this forum I might keep it. I refuse to put it on ebaaaaaay. Shipping costs won't be an arm and a leg since I am located in the middle of the USA. If you have a serious interest then message me. I do not have the installation instructions, so that will be the buyer's responsibility.

Big props and thanks to @Aggie96 and @sdiver68 for posting what I think is the single greatest mod ever for a convertible Mustang (after a supercharger of course).

I did my daughter's car tonight in less than 30 mins. Crazy how effective it is on the test drive. Should have come from the Flat Rock factory this way!

Thanks again. Love it.

Chris

I completely agree. World of difference.

I see you have grommets where it goes through the panel. What size are those?

How easy/fast is to remove it and place into the truck if needed?

Very quick. Buttons on each side to release spring tension. Lift out and fold. Takes literally 1 minute start to finish.

I probably would have gone with this option if I could have found one used in Canada. They are very thin on the ground here. While plentiful and cheap south of the border, by the time you add the exchange, shipping and charges it becomes pretty far removed from the listing price. But if I was in the US, I would definitely have gone for this over the Love the Drive.
