Convertible, seat-belt guide mod. Question about ugly remnants/old mounting point.

Guys,

I ordered a set of the seat-belt guides that folks are using instead of the stock ones.

I thought installing the new guides would cover the old mounting point, but it seems that it doesn't.

What have you guys used to cover the old seat-belt guide mounting point after removing the stock guide?

I have a convertible if it matters/is different.

Indeed the convertible guide is different than the coupe. It would be nice if someone had a cover plate alternative however. Maybe someone has access to a 3D printer solution.

Oh, is the hard top guide just a leather strap? I think I can see it in pictures.
