I think the Continental tire website says 30k miles for warranty and that it's reduced by 50% if staggered.

Still impressive for a UHP summer tire. I'm looking forward to these actually coming out.

Just my luck they won't put out the 305/35-20 until 2018. And I need new tires in a few thousand. 10 to many burnouts I think.

well i only have 10.5 width and with 305/35/20s it's very thick and tall. so yeah i got -2 camber on rear and almost on the front with the 275/35s

look where the bumper and fender come together. you can't even fit a penny between the tire and fender lol. a piece of paper is about it. those things are so wide though what's cool is the inside aren't even really that worn in than the rest of the tire. fronts are a different story. insides are worn in much more but that was even from when i just had a prokit and -1.5

yeah the rear cambers in big time when air'd out but i'm nervous to put any more positive in then it hit the fender. it's just too tight now.

you'd prob be fine with 305/30s but that's too skinny for my taste.

Khyber. So, you're aired out in this picture, correct? You'd never drive with it this low, yes? So, if it's close, but not doing damage, 305/35/20 rear, 275/35/20 front, should be fine, like Paul states. However, if you can state from experience, that this is troublesome or something you have to use extreme caution with, I'll go with the 255/295. Project Whitemare and Scotryla, have the 255/295 set up now. Both went away from wide tire set ups with their BC forged wheels, which have custom offsets. Your opinion is appreciated.

Scott and Nick both air out to the floor so they needed more space to air down hence the tire sizes.

Thanks, Paul. Not doubting you at all. Just want someone with AirLift to chime in. I don't want to spend a $1000+ on tires and have to be "careful" when using the system. Personally, I've only gone to "zero" once and that was when I first installed the system and needed to check function. I can't say that I'll never air out completely, so I want to be sure I don't damage my fenders if I choose to or accidentally hit the "zero" preset. You've done these set ups enough. If you say 275/305 work with AirLift, I trust you. If I need 255/295-/35/20 to air out, I'll go that route or find a 30 series set up to work.

Thanks Paul, now we know why they were so cheap these days. Love Conti lately so want to see how they are priced.

yes that's aired out. air'd up at 45 45 fronts and 70 70 rear I got zero issues with 275/35/20 up front and 305/35/20 on the rear

Here's an article from hot rod that shows the tires tested on a Petty S550 and Continental states there is an 86% increase in sidewall stiffness over the DW and only an increase of ride stiffness by 8%. Whoa.

Thanks, that's a nice article. These show a lot of promise with the stiffer sidewall. I think that was the biggest detractor from its predecessor. I really like the tread pattern too. I'm curious about the tread wear. Since I will never actually race my car, I try to balance the best stickys for aggressive street cornering and tread life.

Nice!! I loved the DW on my s197 and s550. I hope they slightly stiffened up that sidewall for the new model. I only really noticed it on the s550 for whatever reason, perhaps weight.

Also I'd love to run 305/35 19 squared. Wish they would make that! Glad to see them at least offering a 295/35 this time.
