So you'd say the difference is quite noticeable? I haven't driven the two myself.

My only concern now is the fuckery with the speedometer and shift points for the automatic transmission. How do they usually fix this to ensure the results are as precise as stock? Or can it even be as precise as stock?
Yes quite noticeable. The 3.55 is what I actually ordered for the v6 before I got the GT. A dealer can update the axle ratio programming.

Or the speedo can be adjusted for the gear ratio with a tuner.

According to this the S550 speedometer works off the wheel speed sensors so no adjustment is needed.

Quick question for people who knows.
Right now if im doing 80 in 6th I am at about 2100 RPM. if I go to 3.55 from my stock 2015 gears what RPM am I looking at? 3-3.5?

that would be 2100 * 3.55 / 3.15 = 2366.66666667 rpm (assuming stock rear ratio is 3.15).
