One You tube poster sold his GT350 and bought the SS 1LE. He said the noises he dealt with (besides the engine) were bad.
What say you?

Mine can get a little “buzzy” sometimes, but I bought it for the N/A V8 that spins up to 8250. That’s all I hear most of the time, and the buzzes are typically below 1800 RPM. Just understand going in what makes the car great, and decide if that’s enough to offset the bad. I’d buy the car again 100 out of 100 times.

I have some rattle noise when start the car and switching to open exhaust valves while idling. When engine warms up noise disappears, rather than that no noises.

Mine makes a fair bit of noise. Don't recommend removing the interior. 2/10 on the comfort scale

Wow. Doesn't sound too convincing regarding a purchase

I just bought an 18 R with 3600 miles. It is far quieter than the C7 Z06 I had prior. It has a bit of noise here and there but it’s negligible and I’m very keen on annoying noises.

Right! Had a C6... take your pick, the occasional buzz or the constant creaking of fiberglass body panels...

The majority of my noise came from the C-Pillars on my GT. I popped them off and put fuzzy tape (wiring loom tape) on and around the plastic retention thingy that keeps the panel from flying across the interior when the airbags pop. They made all kinds of noises. There was a fair bit of dash rattle as well. I used the same tape on all the clips and even popped the center vents out to apply it there. Got rid of almost all of the rattles. I had a very light door panel buzz when I drove on crappy pavement but it wasn't bad enough to investigate. Sounded like thin metal vibrating.

As bad-ass as these cars are, they're still Fords. Still built to a budget. Par for the course so I don't knock the car for it.
