Yea tbh...when i drive the gt350 more people come to me than the z06’s.... plus u need to ask yourself these questions......

Corvette owners requirements:

Your occupation is a dentist
Have to have a jaguar
Wear dockers that you tuck a polo into
Subscribe to vanilla white dudes monthly
Wife sells Mary Kay and has the pink mary kay cadillac.
Required to wear a leather corvette jacket anytime you are out in public

you MUST have all of those.

proof? I dont have any of those

riled up....c’mon man......im here for the trolling.....and i pay myself a $1 everytime i see a snotty comment from tomster......paid for my apex rims so far.
Every Corvette owner I personally know and am on a talking basis with is under 40 years old. This isn't 1997 anymore.
The internet has determined that is a lie lmaooooo

Would you like Facebook profiles? Why get so riled up about it? And don't say you're not. Otherwise you wouldn't be so brash.

They're all autocrossers and track day warriors who have discovered the performance per dollar bargain of C5 and C6 Vettes who want to have fun.

How about Mustang owners. Requirements to be a Mustang owner:

Trailer park address
Mullet
Child with his cousin
Missing a few teeth
Beer gut
Torn up overalls and straw hat
LOL seriously...both stereotypes are true and bad. At least the Corvette is more of a sports car throughout its lineage. The same cannot be said for the POS rental car image.

Another way to tell that Corvettes are driven by boomers? I've been cross shopping the GT350 with the GS/Z06 and I'm currently leaning towards the Shelby because it is damn near impossible to find a Vette with a stick shift.

I own one of the last C7 ZR1s. Only 2900 were made and only 900 were stick (mine is stick). And of the 900, a much smaller number was coupe, and a smaller number ZTK (high wing, cup tires etc). I put 7500 miles on the car in a year and it is simply an insane car. It puts your senses at such extremes that it is the first car where I feel like Richard Hammond driving an F1 car where he cannot keep up with the car. I drove the ZR1 in a track and after 2 full days, my neck and back were sore from the insane amount of lateral gs.

stick shift, 800 hp, 750 torque, rwd, front engine, long nose... its a classic. There will never be a car like this again.

I am in a #1 spot at a top corvette dealer for the Z06 and I will buy one but it will be in addition to the ZR1. Totally different cars.

The C8 Z06 cannot even be considerably close to the C7 ZR1. If Chevy were to compare the two they’d be going backwards.

Damn. I only have the Corvette hat that I put on when I drop the top. I gotta step up my game. Oh, and she was 39 when we ordered it for her.

The reality is younger C7 owners don't join really these groups. Of course the local Corvette Club reached out but we really don't have a ton of time for it.

I have a C7Z and GT350. Both great cars, but the Z is a better car all the way around. I'm also not a boomer and dont belong to a corvette club and dont own a corvette jacket and my car is a stick shift.

I like to disassemble things.

The C7 ZR1 is an absolute monster. I still cannot believe that in 2019 that any company could produce something so raw. My '20 GT500 is rather tame in comparison and it's a beast in it's own right.

I drove a 19 z06 brand new..... stick.... it didn’t do it for me... however I LOVE the lines of the car.... I just couldn’t pull the trigger on it.. The sound the feel I don’t know.... now the R.... that sounded pretty amazing the 1st time I drove one.... I love the exclusiveness off the shelbys.... honestly other than meeting people from the forums.i only saw 2 in the streets and they weren’t R’s.... how many vettes do you see? The ZR1 is an amazing machine now THAT is a game changer in my opinion-
