I drove a 19 z06 brand new..... stick.... it didn’t do it for me... however I LOVE the lines of the car.... I just couldn’t pull the trigger on it.. The sound the feel I don’t know.... now the R.... that sounded pretty amazing the 1st time I drove one.... I love the exclusiveness off the shelbys.... honestly other than meeting people from the forums.i only saw 2 in the streets and they weren’t R’s.... how many vettes do you see? The ZR1 is an amazing machine now THAT is a game changer in my opinion-

Based on the tail lights of those vettes, you drove a stingray or grandsport, not a Z06.

OP, I’m really busted up right now. I have the option of changing the color of my car still. Right now I have Velocity blue but the orange fury and twisted have me rethinking my pick.

Any way you can give me an honest to goodness opinion of the orange? Any metallic, even though it’s an optional paint?

Congrats! I’m waiting on my shadow black to get built no build week yet just hoping it goes unscheduled clean soon. I had a 2020 GT500 and felt something was missing too and that being a manual transmission.

I actually had a heritage R on order, until I saw the twister orange in person... From all the colors I saw I was so undecided until I saw the orange in person.... I knew instantly that was the color for me- as a matter of fact this was the exact car that made me go with orange View attachment 489830

Been a while since I’ve been here but miss my 16 GT350R. It’s in good hands now.

Considering a 2020 GT350/R in Iconic Silver, or simply waiting for the upcoming Z06.


Now, before all you fine chaps start hacking at me for comparing the two, realize this... I’ve had one FPC and I’d simply like to experience another... and possibly a mid-engine variant without the Ferrari sticker shock.

Anyways, good to be back and hanging out with you guys.

Not much has changed since 2016 so unless you sold it under duress etc why jump back in? I think the new Z06 is going to be abusively good. I mean the c8 is insane out of the hole and does a hell of a job at the track. I just watched the c8 repeatedly beat a GT500 in zero to 60. I am quite impressed and I am Ford guy. Personally I wouldn’t own a Chevy but I really appreciate them. Sitting in one gives me the same feeling as going to Canada, something is just slightly off. I say get the Z06 though.
