Man, what a day! I feel like I got very little accomplished and I worked from sunup to sundown. A great deal of that time was spent looking at how I wanted to route and secure the harnesses that I made. Finally, I unwrapped the factory wiring harness to access the #1 coil wire (white with purple tracer) and TPS sensor wire (brown), after which I soldered on a short length of wire to both. I’ll need to cut them to the desired length and add quick connectors to the ends, so that they will plug into the nitrous harness. Once that was done, I carefully taped everything back up with tesa tape. I think the harness blends in nicely and doesn’t stand out, which is exactly what I was shooting for. I also started routing the wiring for the JMS fuel pump voltage booster. I’m thinking of mounting it on the drivers side rear seat back for easy access and more airflow to keep it cool, but will research more mounting options.

Here is a video that I’ve watched a few times and it looks like an option. Does anyone foresee a problem with mounting the unit upside down?

Yes. It’s the BAP. I forgot to attach it to my post. I went back and added the link.

It doesn't care how you hang it as long as vibrations are kept to a minimum.
Copy that! I mounted it to the driver’s side rear seat back.

A few more pics. I’m getting close to finishing the install. I still have to wire up the switch panel, solder an extension to to the orange power wire for the nitrous controller in the glovebox, check fitment of the new nitrous lines (just received them in the mail from Nitrous Outlet). If they fit properly, I should have the solenoids installed in the next couple of days.

Looks like I might have another clearance problem. This time it‘s the factory CAI tube. I might have to try removing the nitrous solenoid bracket forst and then installing the intake tube. If that doesn’t work, I’ll need to look for another CAI setup which will provide the additional clearance needed. Does anyone have any suggestions on a CAI that might give me the additional clearance that‘s needed? Thanks

Can the solenoid be loosened and spun clockwise about 45-90* for any clearance?

Thanks for that recommendation Oryx. Unfortunately, the solenoids can’t be rotated clockwise anymore. That would press the nitrous feed line down into the coolant hose and cause alignment issues with the hard nitrous lines between the solenoids and plate.

Is there any reason your dead set on hardlines?
I prefer the short hard lines which should make for a harder hit IMO. N/O said the shortest run in braided line would have to be 12”, as anything shorter would be less pliable to route it the way I would want it and still use their supplied bracket. I’ll figure something out. I’ve come too far not to get it right.

I’m on the homestretch with the wiring. Working on the switch panel now. I think the trunk turned out pretty nice. I used some vacant space on my stereo amp rack to mount the opener, heater, relays and wiring runs.

No worries - looked like the solenoid might have been able to spin independent of the base where the hard one attached.

Best of luck on the remainder of the install - great attention to detail ..... looking forward to seeing the finished product and results.
Happy New Year.

I would use some fittings and braided line to mount the purge somewhere else. It's only used for lowering bottle pressure and evacuate a very small amount of trapped air. It's not necessary that it has to be mounted directly to the Nitrous solenoid.

Thanks Oryx! I’ll get it worked out one way or another. Happy New Year to you as well!
