What’s up guys, I scored a brand new in box ported CJ yesterday by Bret barber at AFS and installed it. Hoping the car will see 550+whp SAE now as it sits. I really like the Ford Performance logo. Fits the car much better.

Definitely the coolest setup I have seen on the forum now. I bet you may push 560 with some more aggressive tuning now.

Did you run into any issues on the passenger side with the starter and associated bolts?

no, just used some spacers to fill the gap so I could use the factory bolt.

Any details?
Just put the BMR bracket and factory bracket next to each other and stacked what I had in my garage until it was even.

Thanks, I'm guessing the factory bolt will bottom in the motor/hole before contacting the BMR mount if you don't add some spacers/washers? That's generally the idea?

The 350’s have an extra bracket on the front of the starter that uses the engine bracket and bolt for support. The BMR bracket is much thinner so you have to fill that void with spacers.

great job. I've pondered doing this in the future. You think cams would be beneficial with this set up? Or are more mods needed to make upgrading the cams worth it?

Thank you. I think they might be worth it. I’m waiting for a phone call back from L&M. I have some questions for them. I don’t think any more mods than I have now are needed. The ported CJ and Monoblade TB setup is usually the best setup for a set of cams when it comes to getting all the air. I’m still amazed at how well the car drives with the big Monoblade. It honestly drives like stock. Lund has it dialed in perfect.

Yes and it’s not even close right now.

Will the stock cross brace fit? Did not look like it would fit.
