It was a very humid evening but I wanted to compare how the COBB stage 3 and COBB stage 2 differ in the quarter mile in similar settings:

My best timeslip (car #11):

The DA is similar in those two videos and what I found is that the addition of the COBB stage 3 tune (plus the ATP standard downpipe) to the combination of other mods decreased the et by .125 seconds and increased the speed by .75 mph. (Comparing my best runs from COBB stage 3 vs COBB stage 2).




With all that said, I think I need to go do a big turbo upgrade and pro tune next...

it looks like your first run in the video was the fastest at 13.377? its crazy my fastest was .001 faster but you MPH'd me by 2.0 mph. i had stock tune and intercooler only. i plan on going again with OTS stage 1 or stage 2 within the next month.

Yes, 13.377 seconds is currently my EB Mustang's quickest time. My car's tire psi were 33 all around and it is the base model with 3:15 gears.

How did you get a low 13s in summertime with a 2.0x 60 foot? That is awesome!

it was midday but only around 60 degrees with a DA of 1438ft. im guessing you have the 10 sped as well but dont have drag mode? might be something to look into doing with forscan, its a fun mode. i would guess it came down to my PP1 having a 3.55 with drag mode on the front end and you catching me on the big end

I wish FL have 60f days in the summer, it gets that low usually on November through March.


The temperature at the track in my latest video were in the low to mid 80s Fahrenheit.


My car doesn't have drag mode but it does have the 10 speed auto. I will look up forscan.

have you ever used the estimated hp/tq monitors on the AP?. the highest ive seen on stage 2 is 325hp/380tq.

I have not, stage 3 is probably 330hp and 390 tq on the Cobb AP HP estimator.

Better DA and it would probably be in the 12's - awesome runs for street tires.

I agree but I am going to go with a protune so the car runs faster and better. I want to upgrade the intercooler charge pipes and install the one step colder spark plugs (pregapped) before I take it to the tuner.

have you thought about using the transbrake/2 step feature on the AP? Without having PP gauges its hard to tell how much boost your leaving on, but it seems possible to make a good amount of boost before leaving.


street launch. looks like he is making 10+ psi before leaving. on street tires you make have to start at the lowest 2 step rpm (2500). i wouldnt use the bump/creep since you're not actully racing and its harder on the trans. i am going to play around with this before my next track session in the upcoming weeks

The EB Mustang is my daily driver, I drive it hard almost everytime but still not a fan of using the trans brake feature on the Cobb AP (too rough for the car).
