Only problem with going private seller through the forums, they use PayPal. How am I sure the transaction is secure and I'll receive the AP?

You just mentioned it bud....PayPal...They almost always side with the buyer if something goes wrong. Just make sure you don't gift the money and make them send an invoice that is specific. Such as Cobb Accessport V3 for Ford Mustang Ecoboost (Unmarried/Uninstalled).

Oh, wasn't aware that they could make an invoice since it wasn't connected to eBay or anything of the sorts

Yeah man they just fill it out on Paypal and have it emailed to you, then you can hit the link and pay.

IMO it's safe. I've sold and bought via Paypal plenty of times from private sellers and companies. Never had an issue that went unresolved or resulted in me losing money.
