Clutch larger than flywheel and pressure plate?

My new Spec 3+ hangs over the flywheel and pressure plate by about 3/8 of a inch. Does this seem normal to you?

Measure the diameter of each. My guess is they will be the same and the excess will be on the inside,not outside,

Yes it hangs on the inside by about 3/8. I called Spec and they said this was normal but my machine shop said they never saw anything like this.

That's 3/16'' not 3/8''. I don't like it, but I've heard of it before
