GM’s president of the America’s, Barry Engle says that slow sales are a temporary phenomenon. GM launched with a “really high mix in trims” says Engle, and once it has broader availability, sales will pick up.

Sounds like the camaro's winning sales strategy

The reviewers say that Ram is really great. I'm not a pickup guy - at least not for every day use, but even I have been curious about Ram due to all the glowing reviews of it.

As an outsider to pickups I think that Ram is probably doing well because they made a great product. I do think the aluminum body on Fords is contributing to their sales. Here in the rust belt it's a big deal to many people.

So I'm not sure if there's really any problem with Chevy pickups. It's probably more about their stiff competition.

And the fact they are butt ugly. The only truck uglier than the new chevy is the GMC, that thing is hideous. WTF were they thinking.

All that chrome on the front of the GMC makes you think of a 50's Buick. I'd take the 50's Buick

In my area, Ram sales are because they are so much cheaper than Chevy.

That's true GM still thinks they can put any price they want on their vehicles and the dumb buying public will pay up. You think they would have learned when the over priced camaros didn't sell.

I've always thought that the interiors in Chevy and Dodge were much cheaper and flimsy looking compared to the F150's.

I have a 2010 FX4 with black leather and love the way the interior is compared to friends of mine who have the Dodge's and Chevy's (and even the Tundra)

Dodge has improved the interior. That is one of the reasons it is doing better. As far as capabilities, I am not sure where they end up. I Love my 16 F150. I know I am not using it to its full potential, but man does she the dam thing :)

I own all brands and just recently picked up a Silverado 19 new model. And she’s awesome and I drove the Ram 1500 Rebel and no doubt it’s a better package for the money. I have owned so many Rams the last 20 plus years I am just burned out on the Ram product for now. And I think the Chevy has crisper sharper lines and can’t get excited about the new Ram 1500 body lines. I just recently sold my 18 Raptor which that truck was the baddest ass truck I have ever owned and I have owned many.
The F150 for sure outdoes the Chevy with better technology and it’s sharp lines as well. At the end Of the day I would be happy in any three Brands. These are not cheap trucks so you better get a nice truck for the money regardless of the brand. I picked up a Jeep Gladiator which that is a badass little truck lol. And yeah she drives like.a truck. I love the new Ford Rangers as well and think these are very nice for the money. Here’s some pictures to back up my words.

Suprising the Chevy isn't selling. It's a nice looking truck. My next truck will most likely be a 4X4 Gladatior or Toyota or Ranger. I don't need a full sized truck. And all three named will get me thru a Jersey winter just fine.

Same song and dance GM used for dismal camaro sales this is from GM authority

Chevrolet said its share of the light-duty retail market rose 5.4 percent between January and May of this year. That still lags behind Ram, but the Bowtie brand underscored the next-generation pickups are more about profit, and not share of the market.
