I think it's funny how from the early 1930's till around the early 2000's it was always Chevy beats Ford in sales. And now that Ford kicks Chevy but in sales GM is always trying to combine to name plates like Silverado and Sierra to have a feel good win. And now that Ram's beating them there really in panic mode.

That may be the truth, considering their prices are right in line or above everyone else’s while having cars that are built like crap with shit materials and cut corners all over. Gm should have went bankrupt in 2008 and not been propped up with my money.

I had a rental 2019 Ram Rebel and it was an extremely nice truck. The Hemi makes good power and it had a 7 or 8 speed trans that was butter smooth and didn’t do a whole lot of hunting for gears. The greater surprise was the interior quality.. I was really impressed. My dad has an 04 Ram with over 200k and the drivetrain is still strong.

The Ram refresh on the heavy duty trucks is hard to beat IMO especially with the Cummins.

GM says Ram - Silverado battle is being sensationalized and there sales strategy will prove out in the end. I can see it proving out the same way it did for camaro .

I does look bad for the Silverado when the Ram can say it’s sold more now for two quarters.

But overall, GM still sold more trucks than Ford and FCA, and they were up 12% from this time last year so I mean it could be worse right?

I’m not a fan of the new Silverado stylings at all. The Sierra on the other hand is the sharpest looking truck currently available IMO.

My 2005 Dodge Ram is still going strong at 130k miles. Except for routine maintenance, the only part I had fail was a taillight bulb--that's it! My next truck will definitely be another Ram.
