ALL OUT LIVE was doing a show at Edgewater Raceway Park this past weekend. A friend entered his fox body 351SB setup in the EXTREME class and took it all home. Had fun being one of his two pit crew members. Was a blast. His all steel body door slammer, all engine E85 carbed setup took the final 2 straight. The other guy was running a tube chassis 1979 Monza fiberglass body with a Chevy 496 BB setup.

The honorable mention highlight of the day IMHO however was this awesome Pontiac Parisienne 4 door pulling the front wheels coming off the line...every time he made a pass. The guy is a 61 year old and the car as I recall was a 1986 model. It was something to see. Grocery gitter you say? HECK NO! Grocery SNATCHER!

First person I thought of when I saw it leave the line was FARMTRUCK on Street Outlaws.

Pretty cool to see a big boat like that yanking the wheels.

Yea, that has some fat meats under those rear 1/4’s!

One of my favs from our local track is this 49 Caddy cutting 11 sec down the 1/4... a classic 4600lb car lifting the front wheels is wild...

I don’t know if he still runs it or owns it, but I saw the car many times years ago.

The same mantra applied to the F4 Phantom, "If you put enough thrust behind a brick, it'll fly." Just imagine how quickly those ETs would drop if he put that drive train into a late 70's Pontiac Sunbird.

There is no doubt that mass v acceleration would be maximized placing that engine in a 1980 Chevy Malibu or mid 70's Vega hatchback. Everyone expects that combo when done right to run.

Shock factor however can be more fun than maximizing mass v acceleration.
