I may just have to go the diode route.
I think it will do the same thing with the diodes, actually. Just on constant with braking for both sides. At least the function would be uniform, but it sure gets funky if you have your turn signal on and start tapping the brakes.

people buy 30k+ car complain about $80. lol the DD was worth every penny!
I'm not complaining. Just wanted to try to do it myself. The possible lower cost option would be a plus.

Yeah, I know my way works differently, which I don't mind. Getting it uniform would make me happy.
