PP0001 not only got a chance to see this fine vehicle, but he also got to crawl around inside and take some pictures.

For those of you who aren't familiar with this car - this is a 1 of 1 four seater R model that was auctioned off at the Cattleman's Baron's Ball to aid the American Cancer Society.

Shelby_r, thanks for posting as I would never have figured it out!

The pictures may not show it but the one piece chin spoiler is all carbon fiber and it not only sits very low but looks very cool.

From what I can tell this R model was rescued out of a snow bank in February at FR and was built sometime in September 2015.

It is my understanding that the back seat for these R models may be available through Ford and may have a part number already.

Don't quote me on that but maybe another member on this forum can confirm my understanding?

With Cars and Coffee being only a mile away from this dealership maybe I can get the owner to take it over there in a few weeks. I am sure it would draw a lot of interest!

The only other R I have seen with blue accents was the Liquid Blue R model prototype otherwise all R's come with red accents at least that is my understanding.

Wow. I was down in Bluffton a week and a half ago and thought about stopping by. I will be back that way in about 4 weeks.

I talked to Mr. Welch on the phone a few years ago. Back then I was pursuing a Boss 302 and he had around 6-8 listed on Cars.com or Autotrader. I called the number listed on the page and it went straight to his phone.
