Hey All -

Our team worked hard putting this video together sharing the story of the Silver Bullet over the past year or so. Would love to hear what you all think! This all wouldn't be possible with such a strong Mustang community, including Mustang6G!

Scott posted they're running 3.31's now. They used 4.09's early on but figured out that gear was too short.

They use their big closed Steeda CAI.

Like @drive_55_not mentioned, we messed around with some other rear gear ratios including the 4.10s, but came to the conclusion that the 3.31 compliments that 10R80 best down the quarter.

You got it! Just wait till we can incorporate battery tech alongside gasoline... it's crazy where technology is taking us!

Yes, we are! Believe it or not, NAPA brand lightweight battery.

ETX18L - You may want to keep a battery tender on it when not in use, though.

cool.. thanks for the info... i heard there is some type of reset or relearn with the BMS when replacing the stock battery with aftermarket one on these S550 mustangs... is this necessary with that battery?

Probably because they manufacture and sell that closed box intake..so won't make much sense to run a 3rd party intake while their own branded intake sits on the shelf.

It probably performs better too, but that's not the main reason they run it.

Can't wait to see hybrid 5.0s running 9s with fewer mods (maybe even stock 10s with AWD?)and getting 40-50mpg. I hope they are able to program Atkinson and Otto cycles so the driver can select Sport or Eco mode on the fly. Maybe even an optional 10kwatt or so battery for at least 30 miles of electric only driving? Imagine the possibilities!
