The engine is in!!! Awesome job man, this has totally made me rethink my future plans for my EB. This looks like an awesome project that would really get you to appreciate your s550 that much more. How much did the digital dash run you from the dealer? I know hellhorse sells it for like $2k not sure what the dealer sells for though.
yeah it is true!!, the cluster they charge me with everything (tax and core) $1590, the bezel was $178 and the rest o found it used for $100 which i was lucky on that!
it was a lot expensive that i thought but i could not buy it from on line, all those sites cancelled my order...

so i haven't more options, however they bring me that in just 1 day!! so definitely was faster than order it online.

So how are you controlling the Gen 3 engine and 10R80? Did you get a Gen 3 control pack?
i took all necessary from the donate car, you will need the ECU for that motor, engine harness and so on...

And the Gen 3 ECU is compatible with the rest of the Gen 2 electronics?

If it's as simple as getting a new ECU for the Gen 3/10R80 to work that's awesome.

remember, Gen 2 is the engine itself, so it is nothing to do with the rest of the car, but phase 1 which is 2015 to 2017 use the GEN 2 engine and phase 2 (2018+) use the gen 3 engine and just a few things change (body wise not engine) nothing crazy and still it is the same platform, s550 share a lot of components, all is very suitable, is not like plug and play obviously but with some programming and matching the connectors it will work 100%.

Update: today i could not worked so much time on the car, but i did some exited progress, i just install the Digital cluster, so i cut off the back plastic section that needs to remove and put it there, but i noticed that it's only the bottom bolts can hold the cluster and this have another ones at sides, but nothing there to bolt it in, so i use a long self-taping screws to bolt in with the frame which is right behind of it, so i will show you some photos of that:

i need help from all of you!!!

one part is missing in my project and i couldn't found yet, looked for junkyard that have this phase 2 mustang but lucky yet, nothing in ford dealership neither, seems that this part change for the phase 2 models and is not updated in the ford parts database, is weird!! please i need either the part or the part number to track this down!!!
in the pictures i described the tube that i need, goes from the evaporator colector assembly to the AC condenser in the bottom part, it is the hi pressure line, and the other photos showed where it goes!

this is a mystery part in ford!!! lol, i took picture from a new GT in the show room to show to the people of part service and the tube says JR3B-19N651-BB as number part, you guys can believe that this doesn't exist in ford's database? i will put the photo of the part because it was in a difficult area to reach it, but i thing is clear the part number, can you guys confirm me this part number if you have a more clear shot??

another update: i just finished all the swap process, the wiring harness is working so far, i have all devices working together, now is matter of programming, the led of the star/stop bottom is blinking fast, that means that the anti-theft is engage, i have no idea how to program that key code to the ECU yet, trying to get some info about it but seems that it only can done using a especial scanner, not forscan! if anyone knows something about it let me know, it will appreciate, the cluster is working so good, i have the steering wheels bottoms working as well, i did install the catch can from MISHIMOTO for passenger and driver side, (driver side it is not available so i modified my old one from the EB and used the coyote plugs connectors) also the Radiator Hoses was changed and they are so nice, i love how this came out, the engine cover was customized too and it is awesome! the CAI was painted in red to match with the RedMus theme. the only thing that i did not found yet is the mystery AC line that i couldn't found new, so i'm still looking on junk yards for it.

so i can't wait to start this up!!! for now i will show you some photos:

Is that an oval ring of LEDs around the pony on the underside of the hood?

What's that look like lit up?
