And I think it’s a misconception about the big front bolts being torque to yield. They are not. Manual says replace due to the locktite that comes on the bolt, not the torque.
Also as a tip, be sure to clean out the remnants of the dried loctite in the uprights before you put the Caliperfexion studs in place. I took a dremel and slotted the factory bolts. Used a die to chase the threads, and then used those studs to run in and out of the upright. This will chase the threads and prepare them for installation of the studs.

Replace the 60mm bolts with new 60mm bolts too. They are torque to yield, which means they are stretch bolts.
Actually, no, they're not tty bolts, they're just big bolts that tighten to a relatively high torque. They're also not 60mm - they're M14 x 2 x 102 mm bolts with a Torx T60 head. Ford wants them replaced because new bolts come with new thread locker. That said, if you're switching to studs it doesn't matter. I reused mine until the studs were available and they were in and out a few times to swap pads and there was never a problem.

How do you know that? Seems some say they are tty and others say no. CJ Pony parts Steeda and LMR claim they are tty...people who reuse them claim they are not...

Just did the rears, so easy. Pulled the pads 1/4 way out and used my fingers to push the calipers open with ease.

Did one front tonight, doing the other tomorrow. Used the ratchet spreader to push it open. Little bit of a pain because it didn't want to ratchet until there was resistance. But got it done.

The main reason I think they are not TTY (don't trust me, I'm just guessing) is that the bolts are steel and they go into aluminum threads. If they are TTY, so is the knuckle.....

I can't explain why they're saying it. It's just not true. If you do the math on the bolts and the torque, they're around 70% to 75% of "yield". Those posts could be revenue enhancement, maybe. If you look at actual torque-to-yield specs in things like rod bolts, it's always "tighten to xyz ft-lbs and then turn the fastener an additional xx degrees". The specs for the caliper bolts aren't that. They're just plain vanilla "torque to 138 ft-lbs". The only yield is in your wallet.

So I purchased the Powerstop Z26 front and rear brake pads. I'm so tired of the brake dust and since I don't track the car, wanted to change them out.

I have never changed pads before (watched it but never done it) and after watching youtube videos, seems pretty straight forward.

Fronts, tap 2 pins out, remove 2 60mm bolts, remove pads, use caliper spread press tool, insert new pads, reinstall.

However after watching a video of the rear, it included replacing the rotors. I believe because of that, you had to remove the emergency brake cable to access the bolt to remove the rear rotor.

In watching the video, they removed the rear pads out the back of the caliper without removing it. Does that mean that I don't have to remove the caliper to install new pads for the rears? Am I able to get the caliper spreader tool in the rear so I can just insert the pads and then the bracket/pins afterwards?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I just finished painting my calipers and had my rims cleaned and double ceramic coated so trying everything I can to keep them clean.
Which video did you watch?

I want to get a set as I will need new pads after my first track day in a couple of weeks.

I ordered a set at the end of last week, and it arrived yesterday. Gorgeous product. I almost hate to put it where it will never be seen.

I finished my install today and had the same feeling. Soooooo much easier than my last jobs taking caliper off.

Last time I emailed with them, they didn’t offer a setup for my 2020 GT350R. Guess the 2020s are different.

Perhaps the R is different, but I have the Caliperfexion studs on my 2020 GT350 and love them.
