Hello,

I do not know too much about wheel setups but I found a great deal on some wheels from an old Porsche. The bolt pattern is 5x130 and I know that the s550 is a 5x114.3. The offset of the new wheels is 45 in the front and the back. I have the 2017 PP with the bigger Brembo brakes and stock PP wheels. I found a couple adapters that are around an inch thick, the same size as my spacers. I will post the link before. Is it safe making a jump this big? What am I going to need to consider for this setup?

Thanks

What are the wheel widths and diameters? Offsets are only 1/2 the equation.

They will stick out from under the fender. STandard offset for an 11" wheelto properly fit a 2005+ Mustang is +50mm. Your adapter is 25.4mm thick on the back for sure. Add that offset (which is negative as positive offsets allow the wheel to sit further in) and you have a 20x11 wheel with only +19.6mm offset. It's simple math and takes 20 minutes to figure out reading up on the topic.

How negative of an impact will this have on my car?

Hub bore matters also, or you will need some kind of hub centric rings. Does the deal allow you to return the wheels if you are not satisfied?

The hub bore is 71.5mm as opposed to my s550's 70.5mm. Will this be a problem? It would be a local meet up so no returns.

I'm going to say this would have to be one heck of a deal to take the chance that they fit. Yes, typically you want the hub bore to be right, but they do make cheap rings to correct for that.

With only a one mm difference I don't think it would be too dramatic, but once again, I am not very well educated in saying this. I am worried about using the wheel adapters on a car with this much torque and with how hard I drive it. Also, I am worried about how far they are going to push out the fenders and the affect this will have on performance. Maybe just sacrificing a little extra money for the correct size would be a better option.

AVOID!! even if the wheels are free. Just buy Rohana in the correct size and offset.
You want at least a 10" front anyway.

You want centering rings but alas you won't find them that thin.

yeah the 3cm (over 1") of poke past the fenders in the rear would not look great.
