I did this last year, and am signed up again. Tulip diagram route book, easy to follow and a visit to an unbelievable private motor collection at the end. All in a good cause.
The Challengers Motoring Event 2018 welcomes all vintage, classic or specialist cars to join us on a bespoke route through the beautiful countryside. Meeting at Bill Rawles Classic Cars garage in the morning for registration at 9:30am, bring your cherished motor car for a civilised mystery drive and meet other enthusiasts. This year we are returning to a private museum housing some of the most iconic cars from history for our end point.
This stunning collection has over 50 vehicles and endless motoring memorabilia including; a Lagonda V12 Le Mans which is one of only two that competed at the 1939 Le Mans 24 Hours and a Mercedes 300 SL which was featured in Classic Motor & Sport Car Magazine.
The end venue promises a hustle and bustle atmosphere filled of car lovers with food and other refreshments available, to help soak in the history and motoring culture.
Option One:
Navigate a bespoke route through the gorgeous Surrey countryside using professional Tulip Guide, with refreshment stops identified. You are then invited to a private view of a very special, private motor museum. All for just £60 per car, including driver & a passenger. Please note you will need to download and complete this registration form.
Option Two:
If you don’t have a car to join us on the drive, don’t worry – we are offering motor enthusiasts to join us for lunch at the private museum and a chance to delve into the collection, all for just £25 per person.
Whilst at the museum there will be the opportunity to browse the collection and hear from the proud owner of the museum, who races at Le Mans himself! Many of these cars are still raced at major International Historic races such as Goodwood and Le Mans.
Lunch will be provided to all attending by the fantastic Piggy Rolls.
This is an event not to be missed – sign up today!
If you would prefer to pay by cheque or over the phone, please do not hesitate to get in touch on 01483 230 060 and have a chat with Hannah Woollven.
This event is being supported by the Barclays match funding scheme.
“Alex and I had an amazing time. It was lovely to see the range of beautiful cars that took part and their enthusiastic owners. Alex particularly liked being able to sit in all the cars at the end and practise doing some driving himself. He’s a little petrol head and gets a lot of support from Challengers and this was a very special day out for him.” – Phil Wright, Challengers Parent and participant
