Did you happen to see what the IAT's were with the rain tray vs without? No way would I be able to drive without the tray here. The rain here gets nuts at times. My engine would take a bath. lol

I really like this hood but in certain pictures it looks like doesn't have a smooth transition into the bumper cover.

It looks like there is a bump which the aftermarket aluminum GT500 hoods don't have.

I do notice a similar issue with some Shelby GT-H and Shelby Super Snake hoods as well, I guess that is what you get for going aftermarket at times.

I am getting used to the 2018+ side contours which give more visible clearance at the corners to the driver more now and I kinda do not feel for going back to the old style hood side view on a 2018. Cervinis hoods retain the old S550 style for its 18+ hoods.

I just experienced a cringe moment looking two Cervinis 2018 Hood installs from American Muscle with the windshield washer nozzle reinstall.

check out 14:30 which looks proper

then check out 07:59 which I take it no instructions manual was provided?

Installed hood today...huge difference in engine temps with the supercharger. Before hard pulls and hard driving engine time would be about 225, with hood and no rain tray, about 195...now to get the hood stripes put on this week

It's best to order one of these hoods unpainted. Cervini's paint quality is suspect. I may order one of these soon as my 2016 gt/cs hood has the aluminum oxidation issue. I have a guy who works in a body shop who can paint both sides, and gloss black the heat vent. it would look trick in ruby red..

Let me ask you guys, how does the black gel coat underside of this hood look. Does it look like the stock undercoat of a black painted hood being that dull paint look? Only reason I ask is my car is black and I don’t necessarily know if it’s worth painting the hood underside glossy considering the gel coat has a very similar look to a stock underside, at least in pics, especially being I have a black car and personally I like the “stock” underside hood look. But not if it looks “unpainted”. I know that is one of the reasons Cervinis does the gel coat underside which would be to save you from having to paint both sides.

Cheapest and best to order from lethal. They still have 10% off right now.
I saw that tonight - but they don’t give Canadian addresses a shipping price at checkout, so that is unknown for the moment. I am going to call them tomorrow to get shipping price. For me, living in Ontario and CJs in Pennsylvania, the shipping is reasonable. If Lethal is much further South, the 10% may be offset by the increased ship charge. I will know tomorrow.
Thank you!
