There will always be a place in my heart for Ruby Red. It is such a stunning colour especially in bright sunlight. 🌞 job well done. Looks great.
Except it’s not Ruby Red, it’s Rapid Red. They look very similar in pics but very different next to each other. I’ve owned both 😉

hi all, ceramic coating is the way to go nowadays, my son produces it and has a lot of satisfied customers.
available through Carbon collective usa and detail division, also Carbon colective, com
easy to apply yourself with the kit provided, just take your time, read instructions fully.

i have a 65 falcon, its been polished and ceramic coated, looks like new paint!.

I tired a coating (DIY) for the first time recently.. can't speak for the durability personally since I applied it recently, but I used a knock-off product sold on Amazon
(FORETOO 10H Ceramic Graphene Coating) and it seems great. Super easy application - I mean real easy. I watched some videos reviewing knock-offs against the established brands and besides durability, one key concern was difficult applilcation (essentially on the buff/blend.) This one went on awesome. Super slick and glossy. One of the reviews show this knock-off with very competitive 1-year durability in their testing.

Just had my boat detailed with ceramic. It's a 2008 Tiara fiberglass hull that's not had the best care. They buffed it out a couple times to cleanup the gelcoat, then applied a couple layers of Starke ceramic. Reflections in this pic shows a pretty good gloss. They claim it will last a couple years, which would be great. Wax doesn't last long in south FL.

I had mine coated at a company that uses Gtechniq. The ultra has a 9 year warranty, but they said since I keep it in the garage and don’t drive it a lot , that it would be a lifetime! I love it! I can pressure wash it and dry it with a leaf blower! I also had them ppf the rear and side panels to keep rock chips from the tires!

Thank you sir!!

The guys at the ceramic place told me that the cost you pay is mostly because of the paint correction and how long it takes. Them adding the coating is easy and quick!

Exactly. Like I said in my previous post about ceramic coating my boat, they buffed the hull several times to remove any oxidation from the fiberglass, then applied the ceramic.
Now it looks great, cleans up easily, just hope it lasts to justify the cost.

Assuming they used one that’s marine grade (there’s a few out there) I don’t see why it wouldn’t hold up like it’s supposed to.

My detailer just sent me these pictures of my car after he finished buffing and ceramic coating it. Paint, trim, wheels, tires and glass. Now it has to set in his shop to cure till Friday. I can't wait to see it in person
