CDC Roof Spoiler Mounting Location?

So it only mounts with double sided tape. Is it on the actual roof or the rear glass? How the heck does this thing not blow away at triple digits?

With the window spoiler on my TL I used Window Weld on it, that thing was pretty much on there permanently. It mounted on the glass, not sure how the CDC one mounts.
