It gives the rear less play under hard acceleration and heavy load. The rear can feel twitchy when driving the car hard, and it will wheel hop under a hard launch. This greatly reduces the bushing deflection that causes the driving dynamics I described.
I went a little more aggressive with bushing/bearing upgrades for subframe, LCAs, and UCAs. It made a significant difference in stiffening up the chassis and planting the rear. Going that aggressive is not for everyone and the BMR kit seems like a nice middle ground that is more cost effective.
