These orderings are based on CarMax sales data. I think that the Mustang as best selling sports car is widely known. Given that most convertibles are sports cars, it's not a surprise that the Mustang is the best seller in that category.

It would be interesting to know what the thought process was for the ranking. All I know is that the Fiat 500 makes our cars look like Corollas from a build quality perspective. I believe em, I sold them my ‘16 with 41k miles on it for $29700. Within a week it was gone. I saw it posted one time on their website.
