So, December 2020 I purchased a used 2019 base 300A with the PP1 option. Fast forward to last Monday... I had been seeing all the great offers everyone was getting on their Mustangs so I thought I’d give it a try. I loved my 2019, but black on black was really starting to wear on me. I did Vroom, Carvana and Carmax. Vroom offered me the most. Carmax next and Carvana last. Being, that I have a local Carmax dealership where I live, I made the appointment and went to the dealership. In and out in about an hour and a half. I walked out with a check for a little over $2000 what I paid for the car in December.
So, Saturday I was able to make a deal on a brand new 2021. 301A, active exhaust, M6 with the blackout package in Velocity blue. Window tint already installed with 5 miles at purchase. Demand vs. inventory in my area is extremely low. All in all not a bad deal with OTD price coming in at just under $2k below sticker. A few pics... Probably only mods are an H-pipe and replace the shifter ball and paint the calipers. Any recommendations on a caliper color?

I enjoyed the black. But that velocity blue with the black roof just spoke to me!

I love all if the recent shades of blue on Mustangs. My Tacoma is Blazing Blue which is similar to Velocity Blue. My brother has a 2019 PP2 in Kona Blue. I just saw Antimatter Blue in person for the first time and it is my new favorite. It looks black in certain light but it pops in the sunlight. All three are beautiful colors.

I'm interested to hear your opinion on going from a PP1 to a non-performance pack GT. How is the ride and handling so far?

Deep Impact Blue might be my favorite mustang blue. My all time favorite blue is Toyota Supra Royal sapphire blue pearl 😍. I had a buddy in HS that had a 97 TT in RSP and that color POPS!!

Congrats - Now that you have the best currently available Mustang color, Invest in some decent forged wheels and get that paint clear bra'd ASAP.

The ride and handling for a street driven car are actually better for my taste. A little less harsh, but still hugs the road very well. I really don’t miss anything suspension wise with this car vs the PP1. But I don’t track the car, so there’s that. About the only thing that I do miss and this is really small, is the PP1 had 3.73 rear gears and this blue one has 3.55s. The PP1 seemed to pull just a bit harder in first and second. But comparatively the difference is very little...
