This is impressive. The entire body is carbon fiber, which saves quite a lot of weight (saving 400-600lb!). The roof, for instance, weighs less than 4 pounds. The fenders? Just a bit over 1 pound each.

Colin Chapman would be proud!

An additional 70k (ish). Would be interesting to see how that correlates to lap times.

He has a good gig going. Not only a collector but someone who actually drives them.

So the one part that I think would probably be the most popular, isn't available on the website.

I'd buy the roof. Lowers center of gravity, and I wanted a painted black roof.

It looks good too, especially with the stripes!

I'm not a huge carbon fiber guy (I'd paint it Oxford White), but I like the stronger/lighter/quieter aspect.

It's also cool to hear Jay say the 350R is one of his all time favorite cars. Coming from a guy who has owned a lot of classics and exotics, and has probably driven even more, his opinion is pretty valid.

Thanks for posting!

Want those wheels! :)
IKR. Last time I saw a set on ebay I think they ran 11k.

I think the comment about the front end being 1 piece was interesting also. Not sure if it would be a huge saving in weight but he made it sound like it saved a lot of additional components, installation, etc. Even Leno said it would be nice to have.

Looking at our roofs and it seems like it and the side pillars down to the rear quarters are one piece. Like to see how they did it.
