Hello all!
My mustang V6 just arrived to me from USA, but during the transport key fob was lost, i think somewhere in car, because car starts normal (when i push start button) and i see message on screen "key fob battery low". I tried to look everywhere, under the hood, under the seats. It took me 2 days, maybe you have some advice. Maybe I can locate it with some device. Help!:)

Yes, I was looking there, I was looking everywhere where you can put your hand and you do not need to remove the car upholstery :(

Run fingers around lip of dash on backside. Maybe that stuck them behind dash?

When you turn the car off and go to lock it, does it say the keys are still in the car?

Check the door pockets. Those things are huge and trust me, things can get lost in them.

Above sunvisors

Little compartment inside glovebox (most don’t know it exists - it’s above the larger cavity)

Under floor mats

Under front seats

Stuck down beside the seats (in between seat and center console)

Inside the door cavity (below door pull) - put your hand down inside either door cavity and go back towards the rear of the car.

Under the dash (probably zip tied to something)

Behind the front upper seat backs, inside the deep “pockets”

——

You won’t be able to lock the car IF the key fob is inside - so it HAS to be inside the cabin somewhere...

Did you call and ask the Transportation Company or discuss with the Port Authority as to where they may usually stick the fobs?

Also the car should have come with TWO fobs; every Mustang came with (2) fobs when new.

Under the floor mats?

Also, let's say the fobs were placed in the glove box, but the glove box lid was slammed shut. Where would the contents go? Is it possible for things to fall into the dash somewhere?
