Don't know if you all noticed but today the price for the 2016 mustang went up by $500 across all models!

Also the interest fell to 2.49%.

Hi guys,

I've ordered my Mustang Jan 21st 2015, and it will be delivered at the end of this month according to my dealership.

I ordered the car with the $750 cash rebate at that time, but am wondering if the new Costco $1000 rebate is now stack-able. The dealer told me if there were any new incentives they can add them on as long as I haven't taken delivery, but unfortunately did not provide anything in writing. What do you think?

Yes you will get the deal as of the date you ordered the car.If the deals are better when you purchase(pick up) you can choose the better of the two.I have bought many new Fords over the years

With the Canadian dollar so low right now I'm really surprised that we haven't seen way bigger price increases..

Dealers could be eating some of difference as well. If they increase the price too much, they will slow the sale of the cars. We all know dealerships don't make their money on sales... They make majority of their money on the Service side.

Update:

My dealer did give me the difference between the old incentive and the new one, which was $250.

I noticed it as well. I built my GT/CS about 1,000,000 times. I had my wife driven nuts:crazy: And when I built again in March, I thought "Shit, my car went up by $499, WTF is going on". I guess its our dollar???:frusty: I have been waiting to time my order to get employee pricing, so I was putting it off as long as possible. My dealership say it will start July 1, Ordered mine Mar 21 and was told 10-12 weeks to get it to Newfoundland. If employee pricing hasn't kicked in on arrival of my car, it can be held for 28 days for me without penalty.

Compared to our southern neighbours, we are paying $7000-8000 difference to begin with. Base price doesn't need to go up as far as I am concerned.

But then again i looked at the increase and thought, " I am buying a $55,000-58,000 car, so whats another $500, right?":headbonk:

I guess Ford will say they upped the price and lowered the interest rate, so all is good, But for me, I am not financing thru Ford so the lower rate doesn't mean shit to me.:tsk:
