In the Vegas case the blue crayon refused to pay the yellow crayon, because he hadn't slept with any yellow crayons and common sense said the little baby crayon wasn't his.
The justice system failed do any DNA testing and the blue crayon spent some time in jail (and lost his job, and his wife left him) before all the relevant people were in a courtroom together.
In the courtroom it turned out that the little crayon was WAY older than the date the blue crayon had been in Vegas, and also the little crayon was black.
Once the court cleared his name, the blue crayon's wife said she'd take him back. He said No, we're getting divorced because, instead of believing me, you believed the word of a yellow crayon you never met.
