Not sure what to buy now with the Ngauge issues. SCT is still around but the tuner I was going to work with suggested RTD. I think VMP sells them but it states you also have to buy a tune from them?

HP tuners is making them but I do not see them on their site. I think it is a vendor (tuner) only devise.

For some reason, HPT seems to have avoided the heat so far. Perhaps because they have very limited options for defeating emissions equipment and were never popular in the diesel world where all of this seems to have originated.

It is definitely vendor only and would have no use at this point without tunes provided by a vendor. It is essentially the MPVI2 without access to the editor software.

Is there gonna be any wheel/tire size for speed correction for the buyer to have access to or KAM reset? Or are we gonna have to get whoever is tuning the damn thing to change it of so we keep having to buy credits. What about flex tuning how we gonna know when it's locked in on ethanol content? If any of these questions is a no sorry this thing seems like a pos and a continuous money grab (credits). Seems like the ngauge craps all over this thing.

Credits are a one time thing. You can do crank re-learn through VCM scanner.

You can adjust wheel/tire size speed corrections in Forscan outside of a tune.

Tire size is also a function of VCM scanner on the F150, so there is a strong possibility that it could be on the Mustang as well.

So we have to pay for the tuner, the credits and for the tune itself? Sorry for the noobie question but I’ve been put of the game for a while and am wanting to jump back in.

It was and is the same with the Ngauge. I don't know how SCT works but I assume it is similar.

Does anyone on here know why my VCM scanner software won't allow me to do a crank relearn?
