I'm still running stock suspension and half shafts. A good drag radial is all I've needed. No wheel hop and consistant 1.60 - 1.63 60' times. Mine is on E85, but you 11.9 goal is easily achievable on stock tune. You could get a 93 tune that would pick you up some as well. BTW mine went 12.05@119 stock with just the resonator delete. Take out as much weight as you're willing and let her eat.

Hello. New to the forum, I haven’t been in the performance game in about 15 years. I always played around with foxbodys and Lightning’s back in the late 90s and early 2000s

I have been tossing around the idea of grabbing a s550 for while now.. back in 2019 right before the pandemic I almost snagged one..

Right now the dealership has yet again almost the same exact car which has me itching again..

I’ve been watching YouTube videos since 2017 on them, and amazed at the power these guys are pumping out of them.

if I do jump and pick up this car I want to know how hard it is to get a bone stock one into the 11.90’s

joined the forum to see if you guys think I can get into the 11s with

bone stock motor & tune
10sp auto
Borla cat back exhaust
Steeda stop the hop complete kit
Weld racing wheels all the way around
305 radials
Aluminum drive shaft (I have heard they make an annoying sound? Never had a issue with my foxs or lightnings, anyone know if a video I can hear the annoying aluminum driveshaft sound?)
Ford racing beefing half shafts
Back seat delete (deleting the seat the second I get the car, it’s useless to me)

i completely understand a tune and 105 octane could get me there, but I don’t have e85 anywhere in the state. And by keeping it stock I don’t have to worry about losing my warranty

otherwise I’d add the JLT intake and tune it for 105

many advice on where I should post this question is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time
What is the elevation of the track you go to? With DA under 1000', you should have no issues going sub 11.9 with traction. I ran 11.55, and 11.56 in 220ish DA and then 11.32 in -570ish DA on stock tune. I have some cheap 17x9 bullets with a bias ply tire on the back, Forgestar 14s on skinnies on the front, BMR IRS lock-outs, BMR IRS braces, had the front seat out, and 1/4 tank of 93 octane. My best 60' was 1.79 so between that and the bias ply tires, I wasn't too worried about the half shafts.

Allowing the car to cool is critical. In 1200' DA, showroom stock, without getting a proper cool down before the run (heat soaked and IAT over 140*), I ran 12.2 @ 117.78.

Anyone tried a rear gear change on an A10 car from 3.55 to 3.73?
For an NA car only.
First gear would be short no doubt but the remaining shifts should work well?

I went 11.92 at 119.5 on stock tune in my 2019 A10 GT with 3.15 gears. Car 105 in attached slip.

- Trunk stuff removed
- Back seats removed
- Full tank of gas
- MT ET Street SS 305 radials on Enkei RPF1s/stock front wheels and tires
- Lowering springs/dampers/cradle lockouts
