Can anyone tell me how the get rid of the km/h reading on my speedometer

I bought a 2021 Gt premium with 7k miles on it. For the life of me I can't figure out how to turn off the km/h reading on the speedometer. It shows split with km/h above mph. I think maybe my car was from canadian so that KM/h is the primary. Any way to change this to MPH? Help.

You should be able to get to the settings and change it to mph. I can't remember what you have to look for but if you have the "pony" button on your steering wheel that will bring up all kinds of options.

I believe you hit the pony button and go to display to change it to just MPH. Or if you have the gear button it may be under there. It is one of the display settings.

Thanks for the replies, but my situation is a bit more complex. Apparently my car was a canadian built mustang. KM/H is the default. I can disable MPH but not km/h. It will have to be flashed to make the default MPH.

Anyone with forscan and a EX dongle can do it. The software is free and the flashing dongle is about 50 bucks.

A 400A Premium car has two large gauges with needles in the cluster, a 401A Premium car has the horizontal all digital cluster that is changeable between different appearance modes. hey have different capabilities and base programming.

I doubt that you can change it. Those digital gauges come with 4 part numbers, MPH with standard transmission, MPH with auto transmission, KPH with standard transmission and KPH with auto transmission. So without getting a different gauge cluster Forscan won't be able to make the change you want.

You'll need to flash the firmware on the circuit board. Reach out to @HextallS550 I think he's the only one that can do it. Otherwise you need to buy the correct unit for your car.

My version of forscan allows me to flash firmware. I would assume all that needs to be done is find an American car vin and flash the firmware from that.
