I should be taking delivery of a Mustang that I ordered a few months agree with an agreed-upon price of a few hundred dollars below invoice. After reading about the EAA $750 discount with X-Plan, I'm wondering how much I would save if I switched to X-Plan and the EAA discount.

The car I'd like to price is an EcoBoost Premium with 20" wheels as the only option. Thanks for any help.

Thanks, I thought X-Plan was supposed to be below invoice though?

Also, does the 1.63% advertising assessment need to be added on top of whatever number you arrive at?

Are there any doc fees are or those waived with X-Plan?

I think there is a 100 doc fee or around that, depending on the dealer, plus taxes and licensing. Here is what I get when I do the XPlan Build and Price:

X-plan is slightly above the invoice total and is calculated as follows:

(Invoice Total * .996) + $275.

Doc Fee is capped at $100.

X-plan for this car is $29,559 less any rebates you qualify for. Factory invoice total is $29,401.

Thanks, where are you able to get those numbers?

The google docs spreadsheet mentioned above is showing lower numbers. Your numbers are more in line with what the dealer originally told me was invoice and x-plan a few months ago when I ordered.

I'm a dealer in the NW, and as such I have access to Ford's order banks.

Thanks for the helpful information.

Any idea on the likelihood of the dealer allowing me to switch to X plan with the EAA discount at this point? I have already signed the Motor Vehicle Lease Order but I understand that's not binding on me.

Can I use x-plan on in stock cars? Or is it. Only for ordering a vehicle?

The program rules state it's elg (sorry, I work in shorthand in my line of work so it's second nature) for both new lot cars and new order cars. However the dealer CAN say "only for new orders".

It's NOT elg for used cars and some special cars (GT500's, Boss's, Raptors, etc)
