Who has 0 to 1/8th and 1/4 mile Dragy times that they can post? It doesn’t matter whether you’re NA or have a power adder (turbo, SC or nitrous).

To me, that would be more accurate than 60-130 Dragy times because at 60 mph, the momentum is already there when the Dragy starts recording, vs recording from a dead stop.

Not trying to start a flaming war, but that’s just my observation.

The reason people like 60 to 130 is very low chance for wheel spin. 0 to whatever on the street is highly dependent on traction.

Right, I get that, but IMO, producing times from a dead stop is more of a real world scenario. For example, if I were doing roll racing at the drag strip, I can only imagine my times would be much more impressive than they are from a dead stop (a cheat code, if you will, as is a 60-130 Dragy time). More driving skill and proper suspension work/setup comes into play here.

A10 and MT82-D4 cars please chime in, or if you are one of those cars and have a Dragy, please conduct some testing and report back if possible. Thanks

Here is the one and only nitrous pass that I was able to make yesterday at the drag strip. Unfortunately, I forgot to uncheck the Gear Lockout box on my nitrous controller beforehand, so 1st gear was locked out and the nitrous didn’t activate until second gear.

I am well aware that had I not forgotten to uncheck the box, the ET and MPH would have been much better with the lazy D4 gearing because of the huge bump in torque that the nitrous would have provided off the line. I will have to wait until another time to see exactly how much of a difference spraying out of the hole would have made.

Timeslip included for reference and comparison with 0-1/8th and 1/4 mile Dragy times.

Some info. gleaned from Wallace Racing‘s calculators based on actual DA and my car’s MPH. Had I been able to shave off 3 tenths from the sixty, I obviously would have been even quicker and faster spraying in 1st - 4th.

With that being said, I need to put on my lumberjack clothes and get to work chopping down that sixty, in order to take advantage of the car’s current power level.

Stock(-ish) f-150 attached. 0-60(1ft) is usually 3.2-3.3 on the street on eco tires, as compared to the 3.47 being with no rollout.

For comparison, I’ve been messing with torque by gear in my Whipple Mustang on nt555r2’s, because that's what matters from a dig. The best I’ve achieved using tc is 3.55 and by pedaling the throttle 3.52, rollout 1 ft numbers.

Haven't tried many times but I got a 12.06 @ 121.51mph.
D/A was 931 but slope was -1.86. I need to find a better spot that is flatter.

0-60 in 4.18
60' in 2.13
1/8th was [email protected]

The car needs a converter to launch any harder (6r80 with 3.15).

Dragy is going to be really, really, really close to a 1/4 slip

It looks like you're leaving pretty soft. You just need slicks, front shocks/springs, and launch it on the bottle at 5k. You hit the 1.6's you will run close to an 11 flat.

Watch how this car leaves compared to yours

Yes, that’s exactly what I need to do! Whose car is that and are they here on M6G? I sure would love to talk to them about setup.

@engineermike and @tdstuart what kind of power were you guys putting down on those runs?
No idea. Something is hurt with the motor so it makes it even more difficult.

Gen 3 shortblock, Gen 2 heads, comp cams, e85, 2018 mani, headers, JLT.

The motor if it was running good would be about a second faster 60-130. Not sure what that would change when converting to quarter mile
