Before and After
Thank you for the kind words Fordever,Great job Bud!!! She is looking great. I see you did the Diode Dynamics Switchbacks.... I just bought the DD sequential signal lights. Looks like you went in though the sides behind the fender liners, rather than removing the belly pan and doing it that way.
Having stated all that, are there any things I should be aware of if I decide to do my install the way you did yours??
Thanx
Thanx for the reply. And yes I am referring to the whole housing. I purchased the full sequential signal light kit. As far as I know these are just plug and play... no need to install anything else. But I have to remove the full signal/fog assembly. And I saw you used a jack to do this. I want to do jt the same way and way just wondering about any weird things to be aware of before I jack it and start.Thank you for the kind words Fordever,
If you are referring to the blubs them self then yes it is doable from the fender liner all you need to do is lift the car so you do not strain your shoulder and wrist and turn the wheels towards the car on the side you will be working on and have someone help hold the liner back as you twist the main bulb plug and install the new DD LED light.
if you are referring to the whole signal housing ill gladly explain that as well.
You might need a pair of resistor kits from DD so you do not get hyper blinking in the cabin.
My apologies. I misspoke. My sequentials are Raxiom, not Diode Dynamics. But the idea is exactly the same. I need to remove the full housingThanx for the reply. In that case, you will have to get a lift or borrow one to lift that car because doing it from the liner will be extremely difficult to almost impossible and you might hurt your self, I suggest lifting the car up on jack stands and removing the from wheels;Thanx for the reply. Thanx for the write up. I really appreciate it. I won’t get at it for a couple of weeks, but when I do I will post some pics of my work and your instructions. No worries but you did get it, they all have the same idea mainly
