No need to put it back on and not sure why the skepticism about the coverage. I sent them an email asking if it was ok if I switched the intake to either the stock or the AirAid and retain their warranty and they said yes. I have it in writing, that's all I need.
I only take mine to the dealer when there is some warranty work I need done. I think I need to take it back again for the AC. It's just so hard to tell in the middle of winter when it's freezing.
