I just want to know why his 750whp car traps in the low 130's.

It's because I can't drive! Actually, while my driving ability probably played into it, my car is a M6 and I was on street tires. Couldn't begin to hook. 60' times were 2.1 or worse.

GT500 is somewhere around 750whp, isn't it. Doesn't it trap in the low 130's as well? I'm asking, not being a smart ass, as I don't actually know.

What the fuxk are you talking about? Nobody called him a troll. He announced it in the first sentence, of his first post. We’re just having fun with the way he came over and made a point of that. You fuxking halfwit. I guess we should take this thread serious and give it the respect it deserves!:crazy:This entire shitshow was created to troll the Chevy guys. When they had the C8 penciled in as a world beater. Before it even came out. And proudly came to this sight to proclaim that point. The C8 came out. And it was good? Hardly a world beater. And hardly handed the GT500 it’s ass. So now You hear wait for the z06 from the Chevy crowd. This is probably hard to imagine. But we understand the advantages of a mid engine design. Without some making their first post to explain it to us.
Yup, there you are. Just the guy i was talking about.

680ishwhp and it weighs 4100. I dont know what you drive other than a Camaro and they are what 3600? 750whp in that car should produce traps north of 140.

The C8 is ugly in my opinion. It might be a great performer, but it's interior and exterior looks are mehhhh.
That stupid looking steering wheel and center control strip.  LOL Wow that is ugly.
I'm looking forward to seeing the C8 Z06.

My car is a Magnuson supercharged 2SS, cammed with full LT4 fuel system. It's got every option including sunroof. I also have 1LE brakes (6 piston Brembos which also includes heavier calipers). Supercharger and Gforce axles add a little more weight. I'm just under 3900lbs, 4100 with me in it. The car made 705whp on 93 octane, 750 on e60. Without serious weight reduction measures, most of the pd blown Camaros trapping 140+ are making around 850 whp. They're almost all autos on drag packs as well. The DA was terrible on the day I ran, around 3800. Staging lines were long also my iat was likely pretty high, but even under ideal conditions I don't think I would trap over 135 or so. If I was Cleetus McFarland or if my car was an auto, it should be a great matchup with a GT500!

Nah.. the 2019 ZR1 destroys the 2020 C8 Stingray in every aspect except the 0-60 mph. At least from what I've read so far. Which is funny cause you know.. 700ish hp vs 495 hp. That's what happens when you put all of the junk in the trunk haha. But anyways the C8 is too much of a poser.. trying to be a Ferrari / Ford GT / McLaren all wrapped up into one. ANybody compare the GT350R to the C8 yet?

I don't understand that line of thinking. Other than the engine configuration, it literally has no design cues or any features of those other cars you mentioned.

That's how I see it, your reality may differ.

It seems made specifically for the older C&C crowd to e-brag and let it sit in their garages. But I guess in that way it has a lot of similarities to an exotic. Made to be more of a trophy than a purposeful machine.

I can't imagine feeling so threatened by a car...
