I was thinking the same thing, keep the sport cup 2’s on my handling package wheels & put sport 4S on the PP2 wheels; I think these are the wheels you are talking about

The Mach1 HP bird nest wheels that came on the car are EXACTLY the same as the FP ones that are available from Levittown Ford. I’m only referring to the HP bird nest wheels and NOT the y-spoke which I know nothing of.
I know we will get @swoop1156 to the finish line on this. FWIW, I’m satisfied with my purchase of the second set of HP wheels, did not have to be concerned about fitment or quality. Same, same, put on car, done.
I went through my photos and these 2 are the best I can do to show the color similarities of both sets of the HP bird nest wheels. Of course different lighting of the day changes the hue but both were taken outside.

You are mixing apples and oranges :)
My comment #34 talks about PP2 style wheels (Y-spokes) that are available both as 9.5/10" and 10.5/11" widths from both FP (black) and Ford OEM (gray) and is a reply to Arknsawchuck. These are different in colour and widths. The 9.5/10" are optional to Mach 1 (for a surcharge) and are also used on HPP Ecoboost.

9.5/10" from FP: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m-1007k-dc19mb.html
10.5/11" from FP: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m-1007k-dc19xmb.html
compare to OEM optional Mach 1 Y-spokes 9.5/10" that are glossy gray and $3250 as a set:
https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/lr3z-1007-d.html
https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/lr3z-1007-e.html

That comment is not about HP wheels at all. HP wheels = bird's nest wheels. Those are sold by Ford Performance in a set and the FP ones are identical to OEM in everything, width 10.5/11" and colour matte gray.
FP set for $1092: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m-1007k-mach1h.html
to reiterate, these are the same as OEM:
https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/mr3z-1007-e.html
https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/mr3z-1007-d.html
which cost over $4000 as a set! But they are identical and available through Ford Performance supermarket as a set with TPMS and center caps for unbeliavale $1092 on Levittown.

For completeness, these are base Mach 1 5-spoke wheels:
FP set for $939: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m-1007k-mach1s.html
which are again identical to OEM ones:
https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/mr3z-1007-b.html
https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/mr3z-1007-c.html
which cost $3142.

Let's be glad that Ford Performance came up with selling these kits that cost a fraction of OEM price. The OEM pricing is silly. It probably has some protective function that no Mach 1 owners buy those and only people buy them for replacement of damaged rim paid by insurance company and such.
This is (likely not) my last post on this. Yes, I do think I was getting mixed up between the styles of wheels somehow, and tell you what - I never built a non-HP Mach 1 on Ford's site and only knew of the base 5-spoke wheels and the HP wheels - I totally didn't realize that there was one in between and that was the one that was gloss black from Ford Performance and matte gray from OEM! That was my issue and I apologize for being half-stupid and not doing all of my due diligence and whew, you guys are incredible!

I also got a new set of FP wheels (10.5" & 11"). Just said Ford Performance on the center hub. So use these for track now with the Cup2's. Just doing some homework on going square and not staggered for track days. Maybe 10.5"x19"/305/30 all around? Someone suggested 325/30 all round but not sure it's a good thing for the front.

I have a 21 Mach 1 HP and picked up a set of wheels that were for the base M1 in that year, but went +1 on the tires 265/285-35/19. Used on track last January cause the temps were in the 30-40’s. I also use them for road trips to save the track tires.

Is this matte ppf'd?

I've searched and looked for that answer on if the front 10.5 will suffice for the rear, as I think that would be a bomb setup for square. I need to get off my butt and jack the car up and just toss my front on the rear and answer my own question.

Remember, there is wheel offset to consider with the front (10.5” @ 24mm offset) going the the back which has a wheel 1/2” wider and 52.5mm offset. So, the 10.5 wheel on the rear is going to be poking out 22mm more (almost an inch) than the 11” regular wheel. That’s why you need extended studs, spacers for the front and the same offset for all 4 wheels if you want to run a square setup. Apex wheels has great info on how to run a square setup but usually run a 11” wheel all around with 52mm offset and run a 25mm spacer in front with extended studs. If a 19” dia. wheel, then 305/30 tire.

that will suffice. Though it's not a rotatable setup (unless you define demount/mount as rotatable. I don't) since the front wheels can't go on the back. Easiest answer is just live with putting 305/30 on all the wheels since equal'ish contact patch is what you're really after. And after burning up your Cup2 go instead buy Supercar 3's in 305/30.

Or buy long studs for the front and 2 more of the 19x11 rear wheels and 25mm spacer. Now it's truly a rotatable setup.

I know I need to do the math or just toss it on and see what happens. Conversely, I wonder what would happen if I tried to run the 11 from the rear on the front. I appreciate the time you took to do the math.

You’ll need a spacer with extended studs if the rear 11” goes on the front. Reread my response, I edited it with some links that will help.

He just told you what would happen in the very post that you quoted 🤣 🤣 🤣

What you want to do won't work as you cannot put 10.5 wheels at the back without excessive poke, and no spacers would fix that.

If you want properly rotatable setup for 305 tires, set of 11 wheels with 50-52 offset, 25mm spacers and extended studs on fronts is pretty much the only right answer. Tons of good lightweight options out there in the same price range - LMR, Steeda Trident, Apex and etc. Apex announced some great discounts for next week, I'm really tempted to get a set of 18 inch wheels from them for myself.
