You went nuts !!! that expansion tank looks huge!!

How do you like the shifter (if you got to drive it)?

The expansion tank is only slightly lager than stock and also has an over flow tank build in the back to collect potential over flow. There is a stop cock on the bottom of the over flow tank to drain it if necessary.
The shifter is great. I had read that the extra weight of the shifter would make the shifting seamless and be very comfortable and both of those were right. The hardest part on the shifter install is the stock shifter knob removal. Should just screw off, but the factory used red lock tight for some reason and you all but destroy the stock shifter in getting it off.

Wow, you did a lot! Guess I was lucky on the shifter knob. Have read a lot on how hard to remove them. Mine came right off and it had some red thread locker on it too.

Mine came off easily as well, the first few turns Had me surprised I could turn it. I brought my strap wrench thinking Iā€™d need it, just sat on the bench unused. I donā€™t think they used any thread lock.

Love the hood pins and roll bar just can't quite bring myself to drill holes in a new car, yet...

It was hard enough for me to justify pulling the whole front end off a new car just to install a tow hook.

Car looks great, you are ready for the track.

Add mine to the list of OE knobs that took a Herculean effort to take off. I also have a Raceseng shift knob:

Took a while to remove all the buzzing in the new RLock shifter though. Love the look and feel of it though.

You must be headed to the Ridge- doing my rear seat exchange with another member thatā€™s going tomorrow. We are meeting up at Griots around 1:30 if you are headed that way.

Have fun at the track!

Looks great nice mods. I had a pain in the butt removing my shifter knob as well. That thing was on there

Nice!
I'm curious to see the fire extinguisher and fire extinguisher mounting setup.

I'm very jealous of your hood pin locations. I wish the radiator support on my 2016 had provisions for hood pins in those locations. I would have installed hood pins a couple years ago!

Nice mods....Iā€™ve done very little to mine, but interested in the possibility of installing GT500 hood pins, donā€™t know why all the GT350/Rā€˜s never had them.
