I have L3124, June manufacturing date and it is a Black Bullitt with standard suspension, stock seats and the electronics package. Not sure how high the #s go, or when they stopped production. My guess is it ended in August at the 35xx range.

I wonder what Ford's original expectations were?

I remember 8003 and 3511, give or take, so it didn't get to 12K. IMO, Ford made too many in 2019 (marketing error), and too little in 2020 (COVID). But overall, still too many. A good number would have been 8K IMO. Having said that, if Ford didn't make too many 2019s, with their inevitable discounts, I wouldn't have bought mine, so a welcome 'judgment error'. Ha ha.

Thats 3 Fords I've owned in a row that under 9K of them exists lol
1/1000 2000 Zinc Yellow ZX2 S/R - Won some wards at car shows with my escort just because it was the "most rare car" in the show, pissed off a few HURST/Grand National guys lol)
1/1,611 2003 Black mach1 (probably a bit less if you factor in auto vs manual)
1/~8,000 2019 DHG Bullitt (may be a bit less once options are factored in.)

My black 2019 Bullitt would 1/~1200 then because I figure at most 15% were black.

Those probably are, or super close, since production even on 2020s ceased a while back. Still not anywhere close to 12K.

Don't know about 2019, but I've been looking at 2020s on Autotrader and such, and found a dash plaque of L3591 on a car at Sunset Ford in Washington.

I just talked/texted with a guy that does a significant amount of record keeping for "all things Bullitt" (Dennis, for those of you that know him) and he said according to his records there were 44 cars built after L3591, so that means the last number should be L3635. According to him, the last day of production was 12/16/20. No guarantees, but this should be pretty accurate.

The dash plaque doesn’t differentiate between DHG or black, it’s a rolling number starting with K for 2019 MY cars and L for 2020 MY.

11,675 seems pretty close to 12,000 to me 🙄
You used to be able to look up production #'s of specific colors of years. like i was able to look up that only 551 cobra convertibles in dark shadow grey metallic were ever built, one year only color for cobras. i was really looking for our #'s in DHG & black. with production #'s so high in 2019 i was wondering how much rarer the black ones are. i dont think 15% is what i'm looking i was looking for hard #'s

I believe in the UK there only three black ones out of around 700 Bullitt sales

If it's anything like it was for the '08/'09 production run, those numbers were released about the time the certificates of authenticity were made available. I got a sheet with my certificate that did some breaking down of how many cars were equipped with each option and how many of each color were made. It might take another year (at least) until we see the hard numbers.

Did you get the black colour option in the UK?
I thought all the exported Bullitts were green
