So the advertised HP and torque are the same, but the September 2020 MotorTrend (p.18) says they are not identical. Does anyone know what's different?

Everything I've read says they're identical, and it's the same car... and on its way out, so which makes more sense to you? I thought so. Ha ha.

I think there is an additional oil cooler in the Mach 1

There may be a change to the intake tube, mid-pipe/mufflers for a more aggressive sound which may result in a small power change or tune refinement that may result in different power under the curve, so there may be SMALL differences.

I expect them to average with in 10hp/tq on each other on a dyno though.

Even with the GT350 tranny offering I would still opt for a Bullitt.

No MT, no Mustang for me. Say whatever you want to say.
Now, if they put a Tremec on it I could say something (despite the fact that my MT82 is working perfectly so far...).

I truly believe the main difference between the two will be the aftermarket support through ford performance. It is very likely that the "bullitt" engine is the same as the mach 1 as far as nuts and bolts, but if they were to reuse the same number, the might end up in trouble with WB due to licensing and whatnot.
