I've had my car 4 weeks. While the cover is listed on the window sticker, nobody knows where it is and it can't be ordered, evidently. The dealer is trying to make it right but no luck so far.

Get a refund for the car cover that you never received...

I want the cover... even if it has the "Bullitt" logo on it.

I have the cover, custom fit and says "Bullitt" on the back. I use it to keep our cats from getting their dirty paw prints on the car. Comes with an attached case with the Bullitt logo on it. Like a Bullitt pillow for your man cave...Dont let up. Get your cover. Most of the time, the cover arrives at the dealer way before the car comes and they throw it in the trunk. I hate to say it, someone at the dealer may have lifted it. If the contract was completed and the 375.00 cost for the cover was included in the sale price, its included in your final cost for the car. The dealer doesnt get to shrug their shoulders and say they cant find it. You paid for it and if your making payments, its factored into your monthly and just giving you 375.00 back wont account for the interest your charged for that amount over the life of the loan.

The dealer is going to solve the problem, one way or another--the parts manager is a friend of mine. It's not a question of the $375, it's a question of the cover with the Bullitt emblem on it. So far, it's not in the Ford system to be ordered for replacement. It may be ultimately but no one at Ford can tell him for sure.

And whomever created the "velcro-purse" closure on the carry bag should be beaten with hickory switches.

I'm pretty sure the cover's going to remain in the bag until I can move Mr. 8HUBCPS into the garage. Which is shrouded somewhere in the mists of future intentions.
