If they kicked u off the track they need to look at new rule book. U are legal till 10. You need a better tire setup. Are you on a transbrake now? I would try leaving under less boost.
Your car has so much potential when you get your 60 foot worked out.Are you still running stock suspension and stock driveshaft?

I couldn’t get mine to leave on any boost either. I now have the transbrake hooked up and 4r200. I am hoping to hit low 1.3 60s?
Wow that’s awesome. Those mods will transform your car at the strip.

Very nice

What you saw was pure tire spin through 1st and halfway into 2nd.

Local track is saying 10.0 or 134 mph. They are throwing me out over the mph even though I did my best to plead my case on the 10.0. Lame any way you slice it.

NHRA roll bar rule is either, quicker than 10.0 or trapping faster than 135 ...

Damn ... trapping 146+ with that dog of a launch, you get that thing to hook and next you'll need a parachute.

Those are needed at 150+.

nice job! car is rolling!! Cant wait to see how it does on some 17's. have you done any suspension mods at all? stock drive shaft? and stock half shafts? Ordered a hellion street sleeper kit a few weeks ago so curious to see how fast you go with minimum mods.

Thanks much! I think you’re right ... she’s a 150+ car with a halfway decent 1/8 mile.

Thank you...

Suspension, axles, driveshaft all 100% stock

Got 2 passes in today before they kicked me out.

ET’s sucked again, but new best mph of 146.8.

I’m leaving on 7psi and switching to 11 psi half track.

I really need to grab a 17” set up for the rear.

Hey did you try a 2nd gear launch ? I went to the track yesterday and was doing it all day off the foot brake and no 2 step was getting 1.65-1.8 60’s all day . Might be more consistent then what you have been able to do so far. Worth a try anyway

How is the tuning accomplished?

Is the car still using the MAF for a/f calculation?

At what rpm are you building target boost with the new exhaust?

Is there any option for using launch control to help you build boost by pulling timing and dumping fuel?

Any thoughts on trying the Aerospace dual caliper rear brakes ?
It may allow you to build more boost at the line .
I went from being only able build 3 psi at the line (got me high 1.4- low 1.5 short time )on the 2 step to 7 psi by being able to hold the car at a higher rpm .
Never got to try it at the strip but I expect it would have helped my short time .

Just saw when I pasted the link they are NOW(they did not when I purchased and installed) saying it requires manual brakes !
No wonder my brake pedal felt so soft after the install with the brake booster in place .

Boost comes on and hits hard right around 4K rpm.

tuned via maf sensor, yes.

Manual brakes plus you have to lose the e brake which I’d like to keep.

Street car! Lol

Any updates to report on this setup ?
Nothing other than car is now at 5k miles. I absolutely love it and can’t say enough good things about how it turned out and how it’s performing.

are the turbos the lowest point on the car or is the frame still lower?

I got back to the track on my turbo car and the 2-2tep setting is crucial to build boost. On the 2-step and tbrake at 3500 it barely made 3psi. bumped it to 3700 and it made 4.5 and at 3800 it made 6.5 and blew the tires off.
