BT Audio not working

I just bought a 15 Mustang ecoboost and I am having issues with BT audio. Has anyone experienced with an Android phone?

Both my phone and the BT audio is stuck on trying to get paired. There appears to be some sort of a bug... My phone works receiving phone calls via Bluetooth however. Strange behavior!

I had no issues with the same exact setup on my VW. Both phone calls and BT audio synced upon starting the car.

Have you tried to reboot your phone and try again? Have you been running your phone stock or have you flashed a custom firmware on your phone? What phone do you have?

It is stock. Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. I tried rebooting, repairing, and still not working....

I will troubleshoot more and post an update in the morning.

You're welcome. I'm very familiar with Android. I currently have an HTC One M8 and I'm not too familiar with Sony devices. Have you looked over on the XDA Developer's Forums to see if anyone else with the same phone has a similar issue with BT?

Are you using the stock music player? Is your music stored on your phone's external sd card?

Do you have trivia crack? I got it and my car immediately did that, uninstalled it while driving and the problem was instantly fixed.

Your problem is with an app.

I have an Droid Maxx, if that matters. My problem was an app, 100%
